THE REVENUE GAP & THE INDUSTRY BLACK BOX

The $420,000,000 held in The MLC's "Black Box" is just one symptom of a systemic data failure in the industry.

Every 24 hours, an estimated $365,000 in unlinked royalties reaches its statute of limitations and is permanently forfeited. Capital is constantly scattered across domestic mechanicals, international performing rights, and master-side neighboring rights exchanges. If your catalog data is not synchronized perfectly at the source, your revenue is legally classified as "Unclaimed."

We conduct deep-catalog audits across four primary revenue pipelines:

Domestic Mechanicals: Resolving "Unclaimed" status and metadata conflicts at The MLC and HFA.

Performance Rights: Auditing ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC to correct detached IPIs and unlinked registrations.

International Reciprocals: Verifying accurate global mapping at societies like GEMA and PRS to prevent fee siphoning.

Neighboring Rights: Ensuring SoundExchange and global master registrations are fully associated with your catalog.

We reconcile these fragmented accounts and secure the payout of all outstanding historical funds before they expire.

SERVICES

Comprehensive catalog management, financial auditing, and legacy protection for the independent sector.

  • The industry isn't going to volunteer what you're owed. We conduct deep-catalog audits across The MLC, SoundExchange, and global PROs to fix broken metadata, resolve unlinked works, and force the payout of your trapped royalties before they expire in the Black Box.

  • Legacy record deals are notorious for creative accounting. We take your original contracts and audit the label’s ledgers. From physical sales discrepancies to buried streaming deductions and recoupment balances, we enforce the math to ensure you are paid exactly what your contract dictates.

  • Protect your assets in perpetuity. Once your historical back-pay is recovered, we take over the ongoing administration. We handle the global society registrations and ensure your mechanicals and performance royalties flow directly to your accounts with absolute transparency.

  • Know exactly what your life’s work is worth. Whether you are fielding buyout offers or leveraging your assets, we analyze your historical earnings against current market multiples to build a bulletproof financial valuation. Never walk into a negotiation blind.

  • When an independent artist passes, unorganized royalties vanish back into the system. We structure your master catalog data and establish the correct society beneficiary channels today, ensuring your family inherits your revenue stream, not an administrative nightmare.

  • No. Never. We are administrative partners, not a record label. You retain 100% ownership of your copyrights, masters, and publishing at all times. We just make sure you actually get paid for them.

  • For forensic society recovery, no. We work on a strict contingency basis. We front the cost of the investigation, and if we don't find any missing money, you owe us nothing. For ongoing global administration, we take a standard 15% fee. Catalog valuations are quoted as a flat-rate project. There are no monthly retainers and no hidden fees.

  • Your manager is built to handle tours, routing, and record cycles. Your CPA handles your tax returns. Neither of them have the time or specialized access to dig through The MLC database looking for broken ISRCs, or the experience to audit a legacy record contract from 2004. We don't replace your team; we work directly with them as your specialized catalog backend.

  • No. "Desk audits" are a standard clause built right into your record contract. Labels expect them. We keep it strictly professional: we request the ledgers, run the math, present the discrepancies, and recover your money. It is standard industry business, not a personal attack.

  • Fixing years of broken data is not an overnight process. A deep-catalog society sweep usually takes 6 to 9 months for the funds to fully liquidate and hit your bank account. Label audits depend entirely on the size of the catalog and the messiness of the label's ledgers. We handle the waiting and the paperwork; you just get the wire transfer.

  • We bridge the gap. We have two decades of on-the-ground experience in the heavy and independent music scene, combined with the institutional financial precision required to hold major labels and global societies accountable. We speak your language, and we know exactly where the industry hides your money.

We do not believe in opaque billing, hidden administration costs, or perpetual retainers.

Our deep-catalog audits are conducted on a strict contingency basis—we front the cost of the investigation, trigger the payout, and only take a commission when historical back-pay hits your account. For ongoing Global Administration, we operate on an industry-standard 15% fee, ensuring we only get paid when your catalog generates revenue. Valuations and Estate structuring are billed as one-time, flat-fee deliverables.

You retain 100% ownership of your copyrights and masters at all times.
